Aakashavaani is a historical work written in the folktale genre. Aakashavaani is the story of a tribe who lived in a small forest in the heart of South India. The people of this tribe are very simple and Divine. The story is several years old, most likely from after India gained independence.  


Dora and his forefathers have ruled over the tribal people for many years, and they have tried to persuade the dumb villagers that Dora and his family are equivalent to God. Dora imposes other limitations on the tribal people, and they are treated as slaves under the supervision of his henchman Sambadu and other men.  

The forest and Dora's home are separated by a boundary line. Dora prohibits strangers from crossing the border and reaching the tribal people. Because of a clever and ruthless leader named Dora, modern technology has had no impact on them and they are unidentified even to government authorities.
